Team´s history

Team was formed in February 2003 in Prague’s area Hostivice, moving later to another part of Prague, Letnany. The name of the team (and, later on, of the whole club) was derived from a popular Czech saying “hop nebo trop” (“root hog or die”), i.e., either everything goes well, or nothing does; this was exactly the case of Hop Trop Prague’s first performances. Three months after it had been formed the team had the nerve to take part in the European Flyball Championships in the Netherlands. Surprisingly, not only it wasn’t a failure but the team even managed to win its division, establishing the first Czech record at 20.59 sec. Of the original team members nobody has been staying until now, except the captain :-)). During spring 2007, the team configuration has been stabilized and team run in this configuration whole season, not counting the time when Fessy had maternity duties.
