OUR FLYBALL BOXES

Catapult
box
Some of our dogs began with this awful mechanism and they
even successfully competed...
Poodle
Ginny, whom this box learned one bad habit - step back
from the box - you can see at this photo.

One-hole
box (so called Polish type)
According to the box, which was imported from Poland, this
box was produced by the Czech company Reno. The balls were
still hidden very deeply and front panel was
unnecessarily steep.

Two-holes
box (so called Polish type)
Michal Jelinek constructed OUR first and moreover
two-holes box based on the Polish model. It had balls
still very deeply as its Polish predecessor, but in those
days it didnīt matter and our dogs didnīt have any
essential problems with it. At the beginning we had a
problem with the rather strange winding up of mechanics,
which was fastened along both sides of the box. It was
incompatible with the rules, of course, and Michal had to
redo our box.
We
began to train with this box only one month before the
European Championship 2003! Nevertheless we won in the
4th division and this box didnīt break down during which
time. In addition, this box became a big attraction for
all other teams :-).

Two-holes
box (so called Belgian type)
This box was constructed by Michal Jelinek, based on an
eliminated box, which the great Belgian team Lupus Need 4 Speed
gave us at the European Championship 2003. The box had
some rough edges, but for us it was as a small
revolution. Both our teams competed successfully with it
at the European Championship 2004.

Two-holes
box (so called American type I)
The first attempt at a box with pitched front panel
originated by Michal Jelinek. This box had only one
disadvantage - excessive slope, which made trouble to
some of our dogs. Otherwise it was excellent. A number of
dogs learned the swimming turn just with it. It became our back-up box at the European Championship 2004.

Three-holes
box (so called American type II)
It is the last type of box constructed by Michal Jelinek,
which has (in the present case) three holes for a ball.
Middle hole is determinated for small balls used by small dogs.
Artfuler dogs can do the swimming turn at the front desk, the box has a
user-friendly mechanics and a touchy front panel.
